See Monatsbericht (1899), p.152 (published by Simrock)- Also reviewed in Musical News p.152 of June 17 1899 issue (review of Sonata in D minor by Albanesi. Gives the dedicatee as Sir Walter Macfarren). Mentions that the 2nd movement of the sonata they're reviewing is in F major (as here) and mentions that the scherzo's trio is marked "Quasi preghiera".
