This is from my suite of Northumbria Dances.(the other one at present is "Howick Hoedown".
It is a typical jig in in 6/8 time as played by a ceilidh band.
In addition to my original material it has snippets of "Lamb Skinnet" (a Northumbrian Small pipes melody) and "the Keel Row"(a traditional Tyneside song) These are initially played as separate entries and all 3 themes are played together at the end.
My thoughts in doing this were "It is nearing the end of the band’s gig and the various members, haven taken a drink or two, can’t decide what to play. They start off playing the same music but forget what’s happening towards the end!!!!"
