There are plenty of compositions by "G. W. Marks" according to Hofmeister published e.g. by August Cranz, some (the many Die junge Tänzerin books) published from 1836–1846 starting when Brahms was only 3. Attribution of this pseudonym to Brahms (solely) seems - ... clumsy, or else Brahms was as precocious as Mozart or even moreso. Eric 13:46, 18 April 2011 (UTC)
